In this circumstance it should be ‘weather permitting’, whereby the weather (i.e. good weather) allows the outdoor bouncy castle to go ahead.

Instead they’ve put ‘weather permitted’, which appears to shift the element of control to the pub landlord. Landlords don’t usually have power over the weather. They can decide whether children are permitted in the bar after 6pm, but not what the weather does.

I permit weather at my house too. If they want to impress me, they’ll have to deny it.

I thought it WAS a Pub Sale! Until I read the explanation below. Even knowing that it’s a Pub in Sale - it’s still making no sense…
