It’s new, it’s shiny, it’s fantastic and it’s not entirely bug-free. Welcome to GrammarBlog v2; thanks for stopping by.
If you’re a regular reader, you’ve probably noticed that it’s been a little quiet at GrammarBlog towers recently; we’ve all been very busy, and v2 is one of the reasons. As you’ll see from the obligatory ‘beta’ caveat on the logo, we are still working on things, but we’ve ‘gone public’ in order to get as much feedback from you as possible and make this new site as good as it can be.
The nerdier types among you will have noticed that one of the major changes we’ve made is the switch from Blogger to WordPress. That’s been relatively stress-free, but at the moment there are a few elements which need some more work, including categories, tags and comments. You’ll also see a number of design & layout tweaks over the next couple of weeks while we make our minds up about what we like and what we don’t. Bear with us, folks.
Anyway, now we’re in a our new home, with its ten bedrooms and four-car garage (I’ve slightly overextended that metaphor haven’t I?) we’ve got lots of new stuff planned, including podcasts and a GrammarBlog shop. Exciting times.
