2. Well, this has ended my little fantasy. I’ve been wetting myself all day (via careful dabbing of a wet wipe around my face at regular intervals – what else?) at the prospect of a four hour-long Al-Qaida West End musical extravaganza later in the year. [I would insert a name for it with a clever pun here, but can't think of one. 'Oklahoma!'... oh no, it doesn't work, that was an internal job...]

4. I suspect they’d defend their headline as ‘bleak post-9/11 tragi-humour; deliberately ambiguous and achingly ironic (with a serious point to make)’.I’d quite like to see a light-entertainment spectacular, with grotesque circus-style acts involving ‘traditional’ Al-Qaida performers.

5. Perhaps Osama’s most recent video was been misconstrued by the major news networks and was in fact intended as an audition tape for a production of ‘Hair (Dye): The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical’.
